Vic Templar is a peculiarly amusing yet almost unheard of British comic diarist, author and playwright, whose skill at hiding his light under a bushel is only exceeded by his fine way with words. Iain Aitch ~ award-winning Guardian journalist and author.

Vic Templar is the author of Taking Candy from A Dog, despite what you may hear from Luke the Sock Monkey, who is claiming that it’s all his work.

Vic has had stories and articles published in various magazines (inc Maximum Rock ‘n’ Roll, Smoke, Shindig & John Lewis Chronicle) and anthologies. He is the resident blogger for Pop Junkie and also produces CD re-issues for Joe Foster’s Rev-Ola record label.

Vic is a former associate of the Medway Poets, having read on many occasions with Billy Childish, Sexton Ming, Wolf Howard, Zara Carpenter and Tracey Emin.

Vic is a journalist, drummer, cricketer (amateur, of course), former restaurateur and general bon viveur.

Vic lives with Bongo Debbie and Corky the cat.
